Our Story

Bringing the world's finest tinned seafood to your table, one tin at a time.

The Beginning

Tidecatch Provisions Co. was born from a simple question: why doesn't America have the tinned fish culture that Europe has celebrated for centuries?

In 2018, our co-founders Maya Chen and Sofia Rivera were traveling through Portugal and Spain, discovering tiny conservas shops tucked into coastal villages. They found tins of sardines aged for years, salmon smoked over ancient recipes, and anchovies so buttery they melted on the tongue.

They returned home with suitcases full of tinned fishβ€”and a mission to bring this tradition to American pantries.
